Autodesk Fusion 360 is an all-in-one design, engineering, electronics, and manufacturing software. It connects the entire product development process in a single cloud-based software, integrating 3D CAD, CAM, CAE, and PCB, capable of modeling, simulating, and documenting. Developed by AutoCAD in 2013, it is a cloud-based system with a top-down approach. This means it allows users to create larger structures, which are then broken down into smaller components.
Fusion 360 can perform resource-intensive operations in the cloud, such as rendering, simulations, shape optimization, and generative design. This means work can continue while all the heavy lifting is done in the cloud.
